Solving crime for animals (The Reporter)
When a Northern California woman's cat was killed within the last year or so, she believed the prime suspect was the neighbor's dog. So she froze clippings of the pet's hairs until she could have it tested against the canine's DNA. The results, it seems, remain under wraps, but the same can't be said for the popularity of what's become known as "Animal CSI.
